PROJECT 1 _ Drought Resistant with Beauty, Woodland Hills
“We want an exquisite front yard that is drought tolerant, architecturally strong and full of flowers year-round.”

Drought tolerant does not have to be dull or boring. Each project we create is custom. Colors, textures, and variations abound in our proverbial toolbox of plants and foliage. Giving these residents a stylish oasis on their hill top took imagination, great plant selections, and design that incorporated water smart solutions.
PROJECT 2 _ Spanish Colonial, Mandeville Canyon
“We want the real everything – colors, furnishings, tiles, ironworks – and we want it from artisans.”

Working with a descendant of a Mexican Land Grant family to design and refurbish, we created a Spanish Colonial style home complete with imported products, commissioned tiles, artisan made iron railings and more. The process from plan to finish was nearly 2 years. The canyon very close to the back of the house created a special problem that allowed us to truly work to solve it both inside and out.
PROJECT 3 _Renewal and Delight, Ventura

We dreamed about this property when we first saw it. A huge raw space, a canvas on which to create. We delved deep into our client’s likes, dislikes, dreams and ideas. We created an environment like none she had imagined yet filled with her ideas. A friend of the client exclaimed, “Oh my, this is like one of those beautiful wineries in Napa.” And, oh my, it is.
PROJECT 4 _ Sustainable Show-Stopper, Westlake Village
“We must update our landscape and we care about the environment so sustainability really matters and I want a Jacaranda.”

This home stood out for all the wrong reason - landscaping that was 1000 years old and awful. The owners here were clear in their dreams - “make the association happy, give us a smart landscape and be sure we have a great big, beautiful Jacaranda tree, too.” We filled the place with paver paths, walls, lighting and planting that captivated the owner, their neighbors and the association - winning them a “best home landscape” award!
PROJECT 5 _Residential Renewal, Elfstone Court
“We want an electic representation of our lives and travels pulled together to create comfort with tons of style and lots of room to entertain.”

Housing developments begin with houses that are similar and need to be “individualized” for the residents. This neighborhood demanded new colors, strong furnishings that reflected the owners ability to mix and match furniture and props while styling a modern new look. We created a beautiful home that had entertaining room, office and life spaces.
PROJECT 6 _ Ski In, Ski Out Family Home, Mammoth Lakes
“We are a family of snow lovers. We need room for family, friends and equipment. We need it to feel like the Sierras while being functional and beautiful.”
We can make new spectacular.
This home in the Sierras demanded to be seen no matter the season but especially when snow invited the inhabitants to ski out to the Mammoth Mountains. Specialty color transformed the rooms. Furnishings were purchased and placed and the whole deal has remained just as it was designed by the family for years.
